“Strategies for IP Protection in China”
Celebrating its fifth year, the China IP Road Show has hosted dozens of speaking engagements across the country. On Thursday, December 15th, Amy Hsiao, the Chair of Asia Trademark and Anti-Counterfeiting Practice at Adsero IP, will speak in Greenville, SC to discuss “Strategies for IP protection in China: What upstate South Carolina businesses need to know.” Amy will be joined by leading experts and government officials in the field, including Kevin Barney, a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations, as well as DeWayne Pearson, the Deputy Chief of White Collar and General Crimes at the U.S. Department of Justice. Also joining Amy will be numerous trademark and patent attorneys from law offices across the southeastern U.S..
Businesses and individuals holding trademarks and patents in China should be aware of the dangers of patent and trademark infringements. Not only do infringements costs businesses financially, but also produce harm to a brands image and consumer appeal.
